They told me that they were building a pirate ship.
Apparently they found it necessary to empty ALL dresser drawers in doing so. They also felt the need to remove all bedding from their beds and relocate the mattress. REALLY?
At least they're creative with their mess making skills.

OH MAN!!!!! I love, love, love those boys! I am afraid to tell you that it is quite possible they got the idea from my kids who have been pulling that stunt for a good 3 years (since the purchase of the bunk bed) so if I am responsible I am so very sorry. They are very cute and creative! We are very much looking forward to our Memorial Day get together, so you still better be planning on it! Katie, I have to say that I LOVE reading and seeing posts like this, they really make my life seem a little more normal...thank you! I think that with 3 kids you just let go of visions of a tidy and peaceful house, and realize that it is ALL about the kids... Okay, my problem with the pirate ship is that I woudn't want to clean up the huge mess, so it would be a pirate ship til August.. I'm really in for it if I ever get a boy, aren't I?
