First Baths

I always love those first bath pictures. . . you know, when they're trying to figure out if this water/naked combo is a good thing or not.

It's not all bliss, but we're figuring it out.

I can't help but be a little more sentimental about this last babe of mine. . .

The Twins

These two, (currently referred as 'the twins') are either the best of friends, or the worst of enemies. I love those moments when they are friends, but it usually means some kind of mess. Or wearing every item from Lo's dress up bin.

LoVe

The last few nights when I've gone back in Stella's room to get her ready for bed, I have found something like this:

She may maul her day and night, but at least we know she loves her little sister!

2 Months

life of a 2 month old Stella. . .

eating, sleeping, pooping
growing big squeezable cheeks
smiling lots
a few giggles
managing to make her way into mom's arms most of the day

Favorites

A few of our favorite things at Christmas-time. . .

Decorating the tree. . .

Christmas jammies. . .

Dressing up for Church. . .
Christmas parties. . .

And visiting Temple Square. . .

Stella Smiles

So loving this little girl and her sweet little smiles. . .

She has plenty of fussy moments but more than makes up for it with these big, gummy grins!

Finally. . .

So I'm mostly doing this for the sake of Marcus, who constantly reminds me that I no longer blog. . . but I'm trying to reenter the blogging world. Tonight I sat upstairs on my couch perusing over all my old blog posts and realized that it really was a good way to record the everyday happenings in my life. I'm not committing to anything, but I'm going to TRY to post here and there at least.

Every New Years, my mom and dad take us all skiing at Solitude. We stay at the cabin for a few days and enjoy being together.

This year we. . .

Cuddled little Stella. . .

Made late night snow forts in the sub zero temperatures with awesome aunt Tierra. . .

Discovered a new talent in leather work with a patient, amazing grandpa. . .

Huddled around the iPad. . .

And had so much fun skiing with everyone, despite those 3 degree temperatures!
